If you truly love horses and would like to learn more
about developing a genuine partnership with your favorite equine based on trust, respect, and competent leadership, you'll love meeting Nicolette and America's Mustangs at the Wild to Willing Clinic, Sunday August 14, 2011 at the Equestrian Center in Santa Ynez, California.
We believe you will be amazed at how readily these spirited animals give themselves to the process of being guided by Nicolette's gentle and calm handling.
Many of today's top clinicians have honed their skills by working with mustangs, and for good reason! Mustangs are extremely intelligent and have superior senses than domestic horses. This event gives everyone an opportunity to experience these magnificent animals and see why Nicolette is so passionate about them.
The clinic will cover groundwork techniques that are the basis for directing a horse's movements through "feel" with an emphasis on understanding what the horse is thinking and how each maneuver relates to training under saddle. Through this understanding between the person and the horse, the most profound connection and kinship is made possible.
Additionally, guest speaker and farrier, Darin Kindrick, will discuss the physiology and dynamics of the hoof and the differences between domestic and wild horses' hooves.
Topics will also include information about issues facing America's wild horses and how you can adopt a gentled mustang of your own from Nicolette.
